Job Description: Projects Manager (Facilities & Fabrication) — MARS Cosmetics
Role summary
Own end-to-end delivery of MARS physical infrastructure projects—retail kiosks/fixtures, warehouses, offices, labs, and related fit-outs—from concept to handover, ensuring timelines, cost, quality, and safety.
Key responsibilities
Lead project planning and execution for new builds, renovations, fit-outs, and fabrications (kiosks, counters, fixtures, warehouses, offices, labs).
Translate business needs into scope, BOQ, drawings coordination, timelines, and budgets ; run site surveys and feasibility.
Manage vendors/contractors: RFPs, negotiations, rate cards, contracts, work orders, billing, and change orders.
Drive on-site execution: civil/interiors/MEP coordination, daily progress tracking, snag lists, punch closure, and handover.
Ensure quality control (materials, finishes, fabrication standards), compliance, and safety (permits, vendor safety practices).
Coordinate cross-functionally with Retail, VM, Supply Chain, Admin, Finance, Legal for approvals and smooth rollout.
Set up and run project governance: Gantt plans, weekly reviews, dashboards, risk logs , and escalation management.
Maintain documentation: drawings, approvals, as-builts, warranties/AMCs, vendor performance, asset handover records.
Build a repeatable rollout system for retail: standard designs, modular specs, timelines, and cost benchmarks.
Requirements
5–10+ years managing interiors/civil/MEP/fabrication projects (retail rollouts and warehouse/office fit-outs preferred).
Strong capability in BOQ, budgeting, vendor management, site supervision , and schedule control.
Working knowledge of drawings/coordination (Auto CAD reading; hands-on with contractors and fabricators).
Practical understanding of materials, finishes, fabrication methods , and on-ground problem solving.
Comfortable with frequent site travel; ability to manage multiple parallel projects.
