What is the Opportunity?

As part of Aecon’s Utilities sector, the Aecon Utility Engineering (AUE) team plays a pivotal role in supporting construction through in-house engineering expertise. We are seeking a Design Project Manager to lead end-to-end utility design projects for electrical distribution and other utility portfolios, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and quality standards while maintaining regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do Here:

• Responsible for the financial performance of the design portfolio, including managing budgets, revenue forecasting, WIP tracking, margin management, and preparing project cost estimates and quotes

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of utility design projects, review compliance with electrical distribution standards, ESA, CSA, and municipal permitting requirements and review project estimates

• Put in place and lead multi-disciplinary design teams (designers, drafters, engine...
