Business Unit Description:


Bitron Group's Automotive Business Unit, led by Bitron Spa, is a leading global supplier with expertise in various components for the automotive market, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), powertrain, transmissions, chassis, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and industrial vehicles. Our manufacturing plants are located in different parts of the world, which helps us be close to car manufacturers (OEMs) and find the best solutions for their needs, even for complex applications.


About the Role:


Manage, lead, and oversee the areas involved in the assigned new projects throught their handover to the manufacturing area, with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction and trust by complying with each project´s specific requirements and with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CSR´s, The Integrated Management System(IMS), and other applicable standars.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage and monitor the defined project schedule to ensure project completion, timely reporting tasks that cannot be achieved on time and defining corrective actions together with the project team to mitigate time and cost risks (using the defined escalation system).
  • Define and manage all activities required for project development (create and maintain the project schedule).
  • Lead and coordinate customer relationships proactively, providing excellent and respectful service to support profitable growth.
  • Manage all tasks defined for new project development through APQP, using project management software.
  • Ensure the project complies with customer requirements for both product and process.
  • Evaluate costs, timelines, feasibility, and quality from the quotation stage onward.
  • Actively participate in machine, tooling, and fixture try-outs (pilot runs), promoting and ensuring manufacturing process stability in coordination with process owners.
  • Timely inform all stakeholders of any changes in project development and define corrective actions with the team when specific requirements are not met.


Who we are looking for:


We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong leadership skills and a solid background in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing cross-functional teams throughout the full project lifecycle.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong and mandatory knowledge of APQP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for project tracking and reporting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project for project planning and schedule management.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Previous work experience:


  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive industry (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
