Job Title : Project Manager - GIS Projects

Experience : 4-9 Years

Location : Navi Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end UAV-based geospatial and inspection projects from kickoff to final deliverables
  
• Collaborate with product, operations, and technical teams to design mission plans, data acquisition, and processing workflows
  
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and resources , ensuring adherence to quality standards
  
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including pilots, GIS analysts, and data specialists
  
• Coordinate with stakeholders for progress reviews, milestone approvals, and final acceptance
  
• Ensure regulatory compliance (DGCA, data security, government tenders)
  
• Prepare project documentation : execution plans, risk registers, reports, and post-project reviews
  
• Recommend process improvements and technology adoption to enhance project delivery efficiency

Requisites:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, or related field
  
• Project Management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
  
• Proven experience managing large-scale UAV-based mapping or inspection projects
  
• Experience with government/public sector projects and compliance requirements
  
• Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and photogrammetry tools (Pix4D, Metashape, ContextCapture)
  
• Familiarity with LiDAR processing, orthomosaics, 3D modeling, and cloud-based geospatial platforms
  
• Strong project tracking skills (MS Project, Jira, or similar tools)
  
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
  
• Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize workflows and manage multiple projects
