Job Description
Position Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of assigned capital projects. Typical projects include minor renovations, faculty/staff relocations, or capital renewal of building infrastructure. Projects range in value from $25K to $3M with occasional larger projects. The position requires facilitation and management of projects through all phases including planning, design, cost estimating, procurement, budget control, permitting, construction, scheduling, reporting, turnover, closeout, and problem solving. It also requires close collaboration and interaction with multiple contacts in divisions and departments across the College as well as outside vendors, contractors and municipal agencies. The Project Manager will lead multiple projects simultaneously and must be nimble, responsive and flexible while maintaining a strong customer-service attitude.
