Job Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: India (Remote, must be based in India)

Duration: Initial 6 month+ contract

Overview:

• seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support a greenfield factory build and related infrastructure initiatives in India.
• This role is focused on coordination, scheduling, documentation, and escalation, not deep technical delivery or application project management.
• The ideal candidate understands core infrastructure concepts but is not highly technical and does not come from an applications or Agile/Scrum background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage basic IT infrastructure projects supporting a new factory build
• Schedule and track infrastructure work such as switches, access points, fiber runs, virtual servers, and related activities
• Work closely with infrastructure architects and product groups to execute projects based on their designs and requirements
• Track project status, risks, and issues within ServiceNow
• Document issues clearly and ensure proper escalation when required
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency and ownership across assigned projects
• Operate effectively in a distributed global team environment
• What This Role Is Not
• Not an applications project manager role
• Not a Scrum, Agile, or software delivery role
• Not a highly technical or hands-on infrastructure engineering role
• No data center build or relocation responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

• ServiceNow for project tracking
• Experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager or Infrastructure-focused Project Coordinator
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts (networking, servers, access points, fiber, virtualization at a high level)
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals
• Ability to distinguish infrastructure work from application work
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours aligned to India time, with some variability based on global coverage needs
• Fluency in English (English is the official working language)

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification preferred
• Experience supporting greenfield builds or new facility IT infrastructure projects
• Prior experience working with global or geographically distributed teams
• Knows the difference between switches and mainframes
