Project Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, tracking, and ensuring the timely delivery of software projects across cross-functional teams.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in Jira-based project tracking , effort estimation tracking , release coordination , and stakeholder communication to ensure commitments are met with quality and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery coordination.
• Build and maintain sprint plans and release plans to ensure predictable and on-time delivery.
• Manage and track project execution in Jira (epics, stories, tasks, boards, workflows, dashboards, reports).
• Support requirement translation by coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring actionable work items are created and tracked.
• Coordinate effort estimation , capacity planning, and delivery tracking against commitments.
• Monitor daily progress, identify risks/dependencies early, and ensure timely mitigation and escalation.
• Facilitate execution rituals and checkpoints such as sprint planning, daily sync-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release readiness discussions.
• Track and publish project metrics such as sprint progress, velocity, burn-down, delivery health, and release readiness.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment across Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain structured documentation including project plans, meeting notes, action items, and weekly status reports.
• Manage multiple projects in parallel and ensure timely delivery across all releases.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution, tracking practices, and reporting transparency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant experience managing software project execution including planning, estimation tracking, sprint/release tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira for project setup, tracking, dashboards, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Agile execution models (Scrum / Kanban) and SDLC fundamentals.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal + written) with strong stakeholder management capability.
• Ability to proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and drive teams towards delivery goals.
• High ownership mindset with strong follow-through and accountability.

Good to Have

• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM , or equivalent.
• Experience with tools like Confluence, MS Project, Excel , or similar documentation/reporting tools.
• Exposure to client-facing delivery and managing release commitments.
