Principal Project Manager

• High Profile Government Department - Top Secret Positive Vetting (PV) Security Clearance required
• ASAP start - Until 30 June 2027

Infinite Consulting is looking for a Principal Project Manager to lead complex IT projects that drive real business transformation within the Australian Government. You’ll manage initiatives end-to-end—planning, execution, and delivery—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure success.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver value and benefits realisation.
• Own project scope, timelines, and change management.
• Lead governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor junior project managers and build team capability.
• Partner with leadership on proposals, estimates, and schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with impact.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years in IT project management.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional certification.
• Agile/Scrum experience and qualifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel overseas travel.
• Australian Government Top Secret Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance required.
