Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description
The Project Manager is responsible for driving various customer-specific and internal projects to completion. This role involves analyzing project results to create value and support business decisions. The Project Manager will collaborate with the Operations group on monthly reporting of operational and financial metrics, interface with customers and business personnel, and engage in various projects. Strong finance and accounting knowledge, business acumen, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities

+ Direct project supervision and manage project workflows.

+ Maintain quality control, meet project schedules, and ensure efficient resource utilization.

+ Communicate project status to management and clients.

+ Develop project specifications and implement practices to achieve defined objectives.

+ Maintain a working knowledge of utility company policies and procedures.

+ Be knowledgeable about line construction, maintenance, and the National Electric Safety Code.

+ Handle confidential and proprietary information responsibly.

+ Manage and develop models for reporting operational KPIs and monthly performance reports.

+ Interact with Finance and Operations groups for leadership report analysis.

+ Support the Finance and Operations group in understanding business drivers and metrics.

+ Participate in meetings with construction supervisors for necessary inputs.

+ Assist the Estimating department with new estimates based on historical data.

+ Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of project management experience

+ 6+ years of experience in the construction industry

+ Detailed knowledge of project management fundamentals

+ Experience with self-performing and general contractors

+ Proficiency in construction management, quality control, scheduling, and maintenance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Financial studies and knowledge of the electricity and electrical construction market

+ Experience in civil construction or high voltage electrical construction

+ 4-year college degree (or 5+ years of project management experience if no degree)

Work Environment
The work environment involves 75% office work and 25% fieldwork, with local travel to project sites in Arizona. Initial onboarding and training will take place in the Phoenix office, with potential field visits as readiness is assessed. There is a Mesa office option. Standard working hours are expected, with flexibility required for project demands.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
