Project Manager/Estimator (Underground Utilities)

We are hiring a Project Manager/Estimator – Underground Utilities & Earthwork for one of our clients in Austin. This is a full-time role reporting to the General Manager

About Our Client:

A Texas civil contractor with 20 years of success construction, currently expanding their business in wet utility construction in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project management and estimating for underground utilities work.
• Perform takeoffs, analyze civil plans, and prepare accurate cost models.
• Solicit and negotiate vendor/subcontractor quotes.
• Prepare proposals and bid packages.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years estimating experience in underground utilities; earthwork preferred.
• Proficiency with estimating software (AGTEK, Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid).
• Strong plan-reading and communication skills.
