The Opportunity
Are you a SharePoint expert with a passion for administration management and data compliance? We are seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to join a high-profile Digital Transformation Program within a major Queensland Government entity.

This is a technical, hands-on role where you will be instrumental in the delivery of a critical "Records in Place" project. You will bridge the gap between technical configuration and business needs, ensuring that SharePoint Online and AvePoint capabilities are fully leveraged to meet strict regulatory and retention standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you won't just be managing tasks; you will be architecting the way information is stored and protected. You will:

  • Configure & Deploy: Lead the configuration of SharePoint Online for records management, specifically enabling AvePoint capabilities.
  • Architecture Design: Develop logical, intuitive file and folder structures and taxonomy tailored to specific business unit needs.
  • Migration Support: Facilitate the seamless migration of content from legacy sources (OneDrive, old SharePoint environments) and assist with integrations involving Salesforce .
  • Compliance & Governance: Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and Microsoft Purview solutions.
  • User Empowerment: Capture user feedback, develop clear guidelines, and deliver training to ensure high adoption of new records management processes.

Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, your resume must demonstrate:

  • Deep SharePoint Expertise:  Experience in SharePoint administration
  • Records Management: An understanding of modern records management
  • Technical Compliance:  Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Purview, DLP policies, or M365 security features.
  • Digital Transformation: Previous experience working within a project delivery framework (Agile or Waterfall).
  • Stakeholder Engagement: The ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical business solutions.

Highly Regarded 

  • AvePoint Specialist: Hands-on experience with AvePoint tools for records management.
  • Automation: Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
  • Integration: Familiarity with Salesforce and SharePoint integration.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate or AvePoint Certified Administrator.
