Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for projects. Analyze test data and site reports to ensure consistency and identify trends. Evaluate design constructability and offer technical solutions. Serve as the central contact for QC issues, guiding site teams on CAPAs. Liaise with clients for method approvals and coordinate with third-party agencies. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards like RDSO, EN, UIC. Maintain documentation systems and prepare quality performance reports KEY INTERACTIONSSite QA/QC Teams: Provide guidance and resolve QC issues. Safety Teams: Ensure safety protocols align with quality standards. Customers: Address and resolve complaints. Vendors: Ensure quality and timely delivery. Auditors: Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE10+ years in QC, with 5+ years in railway or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of QC processes, materials testing, and inspection techniques.
The Lead – Quality Control supports the QA/QC Head in managing and standardizing quality control practices across all railway construction projects. Operating from the Head Office, the role involves strategic oversight, technical guidance, and coordination to ensure consistent implementation of QC standards across sites. The position demands frequent travel and extended stays at project locations to monitor and support on-ground quality initiatives.
