Overview

The Project Planning Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for electrical works. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and contractual requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Planning & Scheduling
    • Develop detailed project schedules (baseline and updates) for electrical scope using Primavera P6 / MS Project
    • Define work breakdown structures (WBS) for electrical systems (LV, MV, HV, ELV, substations, etc.)
    • Prepare manpower, material, and equipment loading plans
    • Coordinate planning inputs with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Monitoring & Control
    • Track project progress and compare planned vs actual performance
    • Prepare look-ahead schedules (weekly, monthly)
