Project Planner/Coordinator, Wind Energy

About the role:

The Project coordinator will work along with PM for the end-to-end execution of wind projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and time with high QHSE while adhering to Indian regulatory standards. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, planning, coordination with vendors preparing dashboards and reports and mitigating risks in the dynamic Indian renewables market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments for wind projects.
• Oversee project execution including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) coordination, quality control and Safety.
• Coordinate with development, procurement ,engineering and other stakeholders for smooth execution of project.
• Monitor project progress using tools like MS Project or Primavera, conducting regular site visits to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to ISO 9001/14001 standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to weather delays, supply chain disruptions, or policy changes  and manage change order
• Prepare and present progress reports, financial forecasts, and post-commissioning handover documentation to senior management and clients.
• Contract and claim management during construction phase
• Ensure all permits and approvals are secured for timely completion of the project.
• Coordinate with site construction team to ensure timely construction of projects.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

•   8-12 years of experience in  project management, with at least 3 years in the Indian renewables sector (EPC or IPP experience highly desirable).

•   Proven track record of delivering large scale wind/ solar /hybrid projects.

Preferred:

•   Experience with hybrid solar-wind or battery storage integration.

•  Knowledge of MS project, Primavera ,MS office, Power  BI

Skills and Competencies:

•    Planning ,Scheduling and  Project management

•    Strong expertise in budgeting, scheduling and risk analysis and stakeholder management.

•    Soft Skills: Excellent communication skill and Proficiency in MS Office.

Work Environment and Conditions

Fast-paced environment with min 60% travel to project sites or more depends upon the project site conditions (primarily in Rajasthan , Gujarat ,Karnataka or as per Project Site)
