Job Description
The Project Scheduler will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new power generation facility designed to supply reliable, continuous power to a large-scale data center. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and optimizing detailed project schedules throughout all phases of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover. The ideal candidate has strong experience in industrial or utility-scale construction and a deep understanding of scheduling best practices, critical path management, and integrated project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the master project schedule using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
• Create detailed schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the overall project schedule.
• Update progress, prepare schedule reports, and forecast future performance.
• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities.
• Work with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and construction supervisors to gather status information and validate schedule accuracy.
• Conduct schedule impact analyses for change orders, delays, and unforeseen events.
• Support earned value management (EVM) and other performance measurement processes.
• Facilitate weekly and monthly schedule review meetings with project leadership and stakeholders.
• Present schedule updates, look-ahead plans, variance explanations, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the data center client, utility providers, EPC partners, and regulatory teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Develop dashboards, charts, and detailed reports illustrating progress, milestones, and KPI performance.
• Track key milestones including major equipment delivery, mechanical completion, electrical energization, and commissioning readiness.
• Maintain historical schedule data and documentation for project closeout and lessons learned.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–7+ years of scheduling experience in industrial, energy, or heavy construction projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6; strong MS Project and Excel skills.
• Understanding of EPC lifecycle and construction sequencing for power generation facilities (e.g., gas turbines, reciprocating engines, battery storage, substations, or generators).
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of CPM scheduling methodologies.
• Ability to read technical drawings, engineering documents, and construction plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. • Experience on mission-critical or high-reliability infrastructure projects (e.g., data centers, utilities).
• Familiarity with commissioning and startup processes for power systems.
• Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) and project controls best practices.
• Certifications such as PMI-SP, PSP, or PMP.
