About the Role As a detail-oriented Prompt Engineer with a strong BFSI domain background at Weya AI, youll join our core founding tech team and take full ownership of how our AI agents communicate with real customers across banking, NBFC, and fintech use cases. You will be responsible for shaping conversation intelligence from the ground up - designing prompts, testing real-world scenarios, improving accuracy and compliance, and ensuring our voice agents deliver trustworthy, human-like experiences at scale. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working close to the product, understands financial customer journeys, and wants to build production-grade conversational AI used by leading enterprises. Requirements Key Responsibilities Prompt Engineering Craft, optimize, and maintain conversation prompts for multilingual AI voice agents, particularly for BFSI use cases (banking, lending, insurance, collections, customer support, etc.). Collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, and domain experts to design dynamic and compliant conversation flows. Build and maintain a structured prompt library to ensure consistency, reusability, and regulatory alignment. Analyze user interactions and AI behavior to improve prompt quality, accuracy, and customer experience. Ensure prompts align with financial domain sensitivity, compliance, and customer trust standards. Testing & Quality Assurance Design and execute test cases covering real-world BFSI scenarios and edge cases. Validate AI responses across different customer journeys and communication channels (voice & chat). Identify, report, and track bugs, hallucinations, and prompt failures using structured documentation. Ensure high-quality voice agent performance in English and regional Indian languages. Monitor accuracy in financial data handling, intent recognition, and regulatory language usage. What Were Looking For? 2+ years of experience in prompt engineering, conversational AI, QA, business analysis, or related roles. Prior experience or strong understanding of BFSI workflows (banking operations, customer service, lending, insurance, collections, KYC, etc.). Exceptional English writing and communication skills clarity, tone, and empathy are essential. Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and edge cases. Ability to balance creative storytelling with technical precision. Curiosity about conversational AI, user behavior, NLP, and LLM technologies. Comfortable working hands-on, both independently and in cross-functional teams. Willingness to work on-site at Noida Sector 58. Multilingual proficiency is a plus. Benefits Why Join Weya?
