Job Title: Propulsion Engineer 6
Location: Everett, WA
Job Summary:Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Propulsion Engineer 6 to join their esteemed team. This role is pivotal in advancing the safety and compliance of aviation propulsion systems, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of regulatory and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading certification initiatives and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Job Responsibilities:Lead and develop certification plans for propulsion and fuel system projects. Collaborate with program management to define project scope and timelines. Represent our client in regulatory interactions, providing technical updates and support. Ensure engineering artifacts meet quality standards and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve certification issues. Identify and mitigate certification risks early in the process.
Skills Required:Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or related engineering field. 20+ years of experience in aircraft certification or propulsion systems. Experience with FAA and EASA certification processes. Proven ability to develop and execute certification plans. Strong knowledge of aircraft systems integration and safety assessments. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
