Essential Experience & Skills:
Protection Studies related equipment’s listed above (Transformer, Power Cables, GIS, Switchgear, LVAC & LVDC, UPS, Battery Bank.) Protection studies (Load Flow, Harmonic Analysis, Arc Flash, Reactive power compensation, Transient Stability, Load shedding, short circuit analysis, Insulation coordination, Protection relay coordination) equipment’s mentioned above. Protection and control schematic design, modification on ebase Design experience /good understanding of protection schemes covering all AC substation equipment’s (Transformer, Power Cables, GIS, Switchgear, LVAC & LVDC, UPS, Battery Bank.) Initialize relay (preferably SIPROTEC 4 & 5) with firmware, configurations & perform basic testing using Digsi software packages. Hands on experience in working with various manufacture IEDs on IEC 61850 protocol in creating *.IEC, ICD, CID, SCD files. CT/VT and Control Cable sizing calculation Hands on experience in producing documents (test specification, philosophy & check sheets) ranging for pre-FAT, FAT and SAT Experience of Siemens protection equipment. Protection system FST & FAT experience Awareness of applicable regional standards (US, UK, Europe, India) Good to have experience & skills: Degree in Electrical Engineering Masters in Power System engineering preferred for Protection engineers. Experience in Renewables and/or HVAC substations projects. Protection Erection and commissioning experience Knowledge of experience on multi-vendor IED engineering (design and detailing the schemes) in electrical protection relay application. Hands on experience in working with various manufacture IEDs on IEC 61850 protocol in creating *.IEC, ICD, CID, SCD files.
