About the role
The role will be working with secondary aged students, supporting with pre-planned English, Maths and other pre-planned subject areas. As an PRU Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting and facilitating the educational and social development of students with SEND and SEMH needs and challenging behaviours in an alternative provision setting.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver effective and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEND learning needs.Adapt teaching methods and resources to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that fosters academic progress, emotional well-being, and positive behavior.Collaborate with other teachers and teaching assistants to develop Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and implement strategies for student progress.Regularly assess and track student progress...
