Psychiatrist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychiatrist at Bhatia Neuropsychiatric Hospital, located in Amritsar. The Psychiatrist will conduct patient evaluations, diagnose and treat mental health disorders, and provide individualized psychiatric care. The role involves creating treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care
• Experience and understanding of Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health
• Strong knowledge of Medicine relevant to psychiatric treatment and care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Medical degree (MD or DO), completion of a psychiatry residency program, and valid medical license
• Board certification in Psychiatry is highly preferred
