Exciting Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Opportunity at Fairfax Behavioral Health in Kirkland!

At three locations,  Fairfax Behavioral Health  has been a cornerstone of mental health care in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound areas since 0. Our mission is to provide top-quality patient care through comprehensive mental health and co-occurring addiction treatment services for adolescents and adults.

  • Kirkland Campus:  -bed standalone psychiatric hospital offering a full continuum of care.
  • Everett Campus:  -bed adult psychiatric facility in Everett at Providence Medical Center’s Pacific Campus.
  • Monroe Campus:  -bed facility located at Evergreen Health in Monroe.
  • Fairfax Behavioral Health  offers a complete continuum of acute inpatient, PHP, IOP, Patriot Support Program for Active Duty, Veterans, and First Responders, and Women’s-focused programs. With over years of service, we are dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. We prioritize patient recovery, offering a supportive environment and a comprehensive plan for long-term sobriety and improved mental health.

  • Manageable and Sustainable Caseload:  Adult inpatient caseload consisting of - total encounters per day.
  • Flexible Schedule:  Generally, Monday-Friday, day shifts, with the ability to be offsite after daily patient care duties are finished.
  • Primary Duties:  Initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges.
  • Work-Life Balance:  Occasional once monthly weekend rounding and once per week evening call coverage by phone only.
  • Leadership and Growth Opportunities:  Unit Directorship/Leadership appointment available if interested.

  • Qualifications

    Required Education, Licensure, & Certifications

  • Education:  MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
  • Certifications:  BC/BE in General Psychiatry (required).
  • Licensure:  Current Washington physician/medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain required license.
  • Credentialing:  Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
