Job Description – Software Development Lead (PTC Windchill)

Experience: 12+ Years (Minimum 14 Years in PTC Windchill)

Education: 15 Years Full-Time Education

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Lead with deep expertise in PTC Windchill to lead end-to-end PLM solution delivery. The ideal candidate will drive technical architecture, solution design, integrations, migrations, upgrades, and performance optimization for large-scale enterprise PLM programs. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, stakeholder management, and hands-on technical depth in Windchill and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee end-to-end Windchill implementations , integrations, upgrades, and data migration projects.
• Act as a PLM Technical Leader , delivering architecture definitions, integration strategies, and migration roadmaps.
• Manage multi-functional teams across onsite/offshore, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and vendor teams to define requirements and provide technical governance.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization , and adherence to PLM best practices across all technical deliverables.
• Drive risk management, project planning , issue resolution, and escalation handling for smooth delivery.
• Mentor and guide technical leads, developers, and cross-functional team members to build internal technical capability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Mandatory Skills:

• Deep expertise in PTC Windchill including PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, and related PLM processes.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Data migrations (WBM, ETL)
• Complex integrations (ESI, OData, RESI)
• Interface development with ERP and CAD systems
• Proven experience in:
• Windchill upgrades
• Performance tuning & high availability setups
• Environment architecture & system configuration
• Strong technical proficiency in Java, JSP, Info*Engine, Windchill APIs, SOAP/REST web services .
• Experience with Data Lake integration , transaction monitoring, and queue management.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies , CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, client engagement, and technical presentation skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 14 years of dedicated experience in PTC Windchill .
• Must meet the requirement of 15 years of full-time education .
