Job Description
As a Machining Supervisor, you lead the technical execution and launch of gear manufacturing programs. You manage the program lifecycle—ensuring production readiness through Failure Mode Avoidance (PFMEA), optimizing investment efficiency, and providing the technical leadership necessary to resolve complex engineering challenges and drive continuous improvement within the plant.
Responsibilities
Perform supervisory duties (objectives, partnership discussions, check-ins, and performance reviews, travel requests, timecard approvals, compensation planning) for all personnel assigned.
Communicate and work with cross functional groups (e.g. Ind Eng, MP&L, B&F, PD, NMP, Adv. Manufacturing, etc.) to deliver programs and implement technology.
Follow Strategies, Procedures, Guidelines, Bill of Process, MDS/MPS to maintain consistency across programs.
Incorporate continuous improvements utilizing ME Continuous Improvement / Lessons Learned, Deviation and Deci...
