Position: Pulp Process Shift Supervisor
Job Code: MOPOM2 + Supv, Mfg Ops
Location: Cottonton, AL (The Mahrt mill)
The Opportunity:
Responsible and accountable for all Shift Virgin and Recycle Pulping operations, personnel, safety, environmental impact, cost center, quality, and production efforts. Manages the area shift operations to produce quality products in a safe, productive, and cost-efficient manner. This position reports directly to PulpRecycle Operations Manager and indirectly to the PulpRecycle Assistant Operations Manager.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
* Manages and monitors shift area safety activities.
* Review of production and quality results on a daily basis.
* Manage shift production resources and interface with other departments to maintain efficient mill operations.
* Participation in the mill shift production meetings, reporting on safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns.
