About this Role

As a Pupil Premium Support Officer you will be required to:

Work directly with students, colleagues and families—individually and in groups—to deliver targeted intervention and support that strengthens participation, independence and learning skills, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement.

Liaise with parents and carers regularly to encourage attendance, engagement and participation in key school events, and to discuss academic outcomes, behaviour, progress and barriers to learning.

Monitor, support and intervene in the social and emotional development of targeted students, ensuring early identification of emerging needs.

Undertake home visits and occasionally meeting families in the community away from school where necessary.
