Pupil Support Assistant

Employment type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Actively support staff in managing students with challenging behaviour while upholding high standards and school routines.
  • Supervise the seclusion room, including during break and lunch times.
  • Provide support to students on issues such as behaviour, engagement, and attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive pastoral support for all students.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team with a confident and patient approach and competent behaviour management skills.
  • Experience working with young people facing barriers to learning is advantageous.
