Position Details:

Job Role: Purchase Manager

Experience Required : 10-12 Years in purchase of Raw Material for pharmaceutical industries ( API ) from domestic and import from other countries. Also R & D related small quantity raw material import from China & other country.

Qualification: BSc/MSc Chemistry

Location : Vadodara, Gujarat

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage all purchasing activities, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services meets the company's quality and cost expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, optimizing cost-effectiveness while ensuring quality standards are upheld.
• Coordinate with internal teams and departments to understand procurement needs and align purchasing strategies accordingly.
• Utilize APIs and other technology tools to streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor market trends to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and adjust purchasing strategies proactively.
• Lead and mentor the purchasing team to ensure their ongoing development and alignment with company objectives.
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, costs, and performances to senior management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
