Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute global procurement strategies for raw materials, machinery, and services.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding with a focus on sustainable sourcing.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.
• Monitor market trends, supply risks, and regulatory changes impacting the wood industry.
• Drive digital transformation in procurement processes (ERP, automation, analytics).
• Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing, sustainability, and corporate governance policies.
• Mentor and manage procurement teams across regions, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in wood or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of global sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
• Proven track record of cost optimization and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement technologies.
• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
