Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage global sourcing, international vendor relationships, import procurement, cost optimization, and timely availability of materials/products. The role requires strong negotiation skills and expertise in import procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and manage overseas suppliers and vendors
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Plan and execute import procurement based on demand forecasts
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and logistics partners
Ensure compliance with import regulations and documentation
Monitor lead times, shipment schedules, and stock availability
Control procurement costs and improve margins
Handle LC, TT, and other international payment methods
Maintain purchase MIS, supplier performance reports
Work closely with finance, stores, and sales teams
