Purchaser

Overview

The Purchaser is responsible for executing purchases of components and raw materials to support uninterrupted production. This role works closely with the Global Procurement, Planning, and Supplier Quality teams to ensure timely delivery, optimal inventory levels, and strong supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze purchase requisitions using forecasts and historical data; clarify requirements with Planners and propose suitable alternatives when applicable
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule deliveries aligned with production plans and factory requirements
• Issue purchase orders after validating supplier capability, product specifications, pricing, and delivery terms
• Obtain appropriate approvals for any deviations in pricing or specifications
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality teams to resolve delivery or quality issues, including return and replacement of non-conforming materials
