Job Description
We are recruiting for a Purchasing administrator for a long established manufacturer in Lymington, Hampshire.
The position is on a fixed term contract for 6 months with the flexibility to extend.
Hours: This will be a full-time role Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00 with a half hour unpaid break.
Salary: up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Purchasing Administrator will assist in the purchasing of raw materials and packaging materials as needed to meet customer requirements and conform to our inventory management policies.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Highlight any bottlenecks and communicate any shortages throughout the business.
- Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders for raw materials and packaging in alignment with system parameters and analysis.
- Use SAP and MRP to manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging, consistent with sourcing and operational guidelines.
