Job Description

Utilizes computer-based systems to coordinate, monitor, track, and report for purchasing production parts section. Analyzes data and related processes, making recommendations for improvement when possible. Assists managers and buyers by identifying parts needing action, initiates action, and tracks progress; to include cost, and sourcing documents. Interfaces with other departments to ensure necessary documents/data are in place to help assist mangers and buyers meet required actions.
**Job Functions**
Maintains, updates, and reports status on various reports; daily, weekly, monthly, or on an annual basis for assigned section, prepared for department or upper management. Coordinates activities for the section to ensure deadlines are met and that replies are given when due; such as TEMP POs, Sourcing Status, project management, etc. Supports the department cost forecasting tool (CFP) by running reports and assisting in the maintenance thereof.
