Purchasing and planning manager

Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Research, select, and manage vendors, negotiating contracts, pricing, and payment terms to secure favorable deals.

Planning & Inventory Control: Forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and develop strategies to ensure materials are available, avoiding shortages or overstocking.

Procurement Operations: Oversee the purchase order process, tracking, and invoicing to guarantee timely delivery of goods.

Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier performance (quality, cost, speed) and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the purchasing and, often, planning staff.
