Vestas Global Procurement is an award-winning, best-in-class procurement function within the world's leading OEM for sustainable and renewable energy solutions. We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management and supplier account management, performance metrics monitoring, and development.


You will join an experienced team with a high level of interaction within the value chain. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and secure execution of commodity strategies toward suppliers, ensuring a sustainable, scalable, and high-performing supply base.
In this role, you will be responsible for initiating RFx processes, managing supplier selection, and fixing procurement master data for global construction and service warehouses across five regions.

Responsibilities

You shall be accountable to support the commodity and/or regional procurement teams in the end-to-end tactical and operational purchasing process which covers requirement definition, RFx/RFQ initiation, negotiation, supplier selection followed by master data maintenance, and contracting, as well as all other relevant steps within the entire process.

• Ensure adherence to KPI's set by Global Sourcing regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Preferably any graduate / business degree.
  • With 0-2 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement functions. 
  • Experience with sending Request for Quote, Expediting Quotation and making comparison analysis.
  • Experience in SAP or Ariba P2P process, Service Now ticketing is preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Highly self-motivated, efficient work ethics, keen attention to detail, and exceptional customer service orientation.
