Purchasing Engineer, ABB Oy Marine

WORK TASK

As a Purchasing Engineer, you will play a key role in managing procurement activities for ABB Marine & Ports' propulsion unit in a truly global environment. Your main responsibility will be to execute purchase orders from a wide range of suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and top-quality materials for production.

You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to keep operations running smoothly. Your tasks include handling purchase orders, delivery documentation, and invoices while ensuring compliance with agreements, standards, and regulations.

In addition, you will actively communicate with both domestic and international suppliers, conduct price comparisons, analyze offers, negotiate terms, and manage competitive bidding processes.
