Purchasing Executive - Retails (Seafoods)

Responsible for complete oversight and management of purchasing for assigned locations or at group level. Works with branches and central management to ensure purchasing to build sales and optimize stock holding costs. Responsible to identify and execute cost savings opportunities, including supplier selections, negotiating into stock costs, customer specific costs and supplier management programs. Optimizes and maintains strong supplier relationships.

Purchaser Job Duties:

• Ensures branches are using proper replenishment ordering practices and processes to ensure optimized stock levels for fast moving products.
• Manages suppliers to negotiate and resolve performance issues having an impact on costs, customer service or inventory.
