Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities Procure vessel spares, stores, lubricants, provisions, and services in accordance with approved requisitions and company procedures. Prepare, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring proper authorization, accuracy, and timely closure. Source competitive quotations, perform price comparisons, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal cost and quality. Coordinate closely with Technical Superintendents, Operations, and Fleet teams to ensure timely delivery to vessels worldwide. Monitor and expedite outstanding orders, arranging deliveries at the most cost-effective and operationally suitable ports. Ensure all procured items comply with technical specifications, class, flag, and company requirements. Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and inventory-related reports for audit and compliance purposes.
