Overview

Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Shift: Monday to Friday 39 hours per week

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire

Responsibilities

• Be in control of the full purchasing and procurement process from initial supplier identification and validation, contract negotiations, quotations and scheduling, through to metrics and quality performance measurement
• Use the business' ERP software to understand Bill of Material demand requirements, and procure materials in order to satisfy these demands, whilst maintaining stock holding targets
• Conduct research and utilise industry knowledge to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers
