Purchasing Manager - Distilled Spirits industry

As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in building and consolidating the procurement function while ensuring supply continuity and cost efficiency.
In this role, you will:

• Oversee purchasing activities for packaging materials including bottles, corks, labels, corrugated packaging, and pallets.


• Lead strategic negotiations with key suppliers to secure competitive pricing and service levels.


• Develop, qualify, and homologate alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risk.


• Track and manage supplier KPIs such as on-time delivery, service level, and quality performance.


• Work closely with operations and production planning teams to align procurement with production requirements.


• Drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining quality and supply reliability.

The succesfull candidate for the Purchaising Manager rol will have a deep experience strengthening supplier relationships and driving procurement efficiency.
For the position we need:

• 7-8 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the distilled spirits or alcoholic beverages industry.


• Demonstrate strong strategic negotiation skills and the ability to manage long-term commercial relationships (KAMs).


• Apply a results-oriented mindset focused on cost savings and operational execution.


• Show strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
