Overview

About the role: The Procurement services team is looking for an experienced Purchasing Advisor to provide comprehensive procurement services to the business. This includes strategic sourcing, purchasing and expediting of a broad range of goods and services (predominantly goods) to agreed standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify the adequacy of shopping carts received for the acquisition of goods and services to ensure that they are accurate
• Review Robotic generated purchase orders ensuring information is accurate prior to releasing purchase orders.
• Solicit bids for the acquisition of goods and services as required and prepare recommendations for approval.
• Identify and establish preferred and pre-qualified suppliers.
• Purchase goods and services as required to established standards and specifications, ensuring value for money principles are applied.
