📌 Job Overview

We are hiring a Purchasing Officer to oversee our procurement operations, ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong negotiator, and has experience in supply chains or raw material sourcing—especially in the agricultural or charcoal sector.



✅ Key Responsibilities

☑️ Source coconut shells and other raw materials from local and international suppliers



☑️ Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new suppliers



☑️ Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules



☑️ Monitor stock levels and anticipate future purchasing needs



☑️ Coordinate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams



☑️ Track purchase orders and ensure on-time deliveries



☑️ Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases



☑️ Conduct regular market research to stay updated on trends and alternatives



☑️ Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and sustainability standards



✅ Qualifications

☑️ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field



☑️ 2–4 years of purchasing/procurement experience (manufacturing or agricultural sector preferred)



☑️ Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills



☑️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and procurement tools



☑️ Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus)



☑️ Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
