Molex is seeking a contribution-minded Purchasing Specialist- Indirect Procurement team in the Americas Region. In this role, you will be responsible for the support and execution of the Lincoln plant as well as AME regional Indirect procurement requirements in collaboration with AME Sourcing Center colleagues, as well as the Indirect Category Management team.
What You Will Do
Read and interpret engineering drawings and complex specifications; develop, review, and analyze product and service Statements of Work (SOW) in collaboration with internal business partners; evaluate technical RFx responses from suppliers, including mediating Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) proposals and conducting product and process capability studies Using Molex spend data, market research, and interaction with Molex stakeholders, stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to make informed strategic sourcing recommendat...
