Job Description

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for performing the defined purchasing processes which involves providing administrative support related to vendor negotiations, monitoring of deliveries and ensuring purchased items are received in good condition, ensures timely processing of payments, and an efficient vendor selection.

This role reports directly to the Purchasing Lead and shall collaborate directly to various departments to align on products/services specifications and provide inputs prior to sourcing.

  • Handles the entire vendor management process which includes contract reviews, negotiations on terms and pricing, monitors vendor performance, and recommends new vendors
  • Receives purchase requests from various departments, reviews and aligns specifications of the required products and services
