Overview
The Purchasing Supervisor supports the Assistant Manager for sales and support services in all aspects of purchasing, supplier management, and in supervising the activities of Purchasing Coordinators.
Job Description
- Coordinates with the Assistant Manager in formulating and implementing strategies for the next three years covering maintenance of existing, expansion and development into new ones, of:
- product range
- choice of industries to cover
- suppliers and agencies
- customer development and selection in compliance with acceptable ethical standards and business practice
- Supervises his/her group in all aspects of Procurement, Importation, and Sales Administration.
- Recommends to Finance Department credit limits and payment terms with clients.
