Overview


Leap29 are seeking a PV Project Manager to be based in Milan. In this role, you will coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Finance) and external partners to deliver C&I photovoltaic projects, playing a key role in maintaining high operability and profitability across the Italian market.


My client is a well-established company in the energy transition space, dedicated to developing sustainable solutions across Europe and globally. They focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, with a strong presence in the C&I sector.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with EPC contractors during the executive design, permitting, and construction phases of PV assets.

  • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring proper coordination between partners, contractors, and suppliers to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

  • Verify compliance with local and national regulations, technical standards, and grid connection requirements.

  • Liaise with clients, technical advisors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Ensure PV assets are built in full accordance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and internal technical standards.

  • Manage project documentation, progress reporting, and handover processes to internal stakeholders.

  • Support and develop revamping or repowering activities of existing assets.

  • Promote and ensure the implementation of company HSE standards and best practices.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and sharing best practices across projects.
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil).

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the solar industry.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and design/monitoring tools (e.g. AutoCAD, PVSyst, CMMS).

  • Strong technical understanding of PV technology; rooftop PV experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Italian C&I PV regulations.

  • Effective planning and organizational skills.

  • Valid driving license and availability for regular travel across Italy.

  • Fluency in Italian and English.
