Python Automation Testing

Required Skills & Experience:

• Mandatory: Strong experience in Python and Shell scripting with 6+ experience
• Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Prior experience with CPE management systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of designing, creating, executing and troubleshooting both application specific and integrated End-to-end automated test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
• Knowledge of Web based technologies.
• Familiarity with REST API testing.
• Database knowledge (e.G., Postgres, Neo4j)
• Familiarity with Robot framework
• Familiarity with OpenStack, JIRA
• Familiarity with extreme scripting practices (e.G., modular, scalable scripting frameworks)
• Qualification - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Develop automation scripts to execute performance and scalability test cases on cloud-deployed infrastructure platforms.
• Instrument and monitor key metrics to track system performance, scalability, and improvements.
• Strengthen cloud testing frameworks by integrating robust automation for performance and load testing scenarios.
• Continuously improve and document automation frameworks, testing strategies, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with internal PT and Hosting teams to align testing with infrastructure goals and deployments.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, testing, validation, and delivery of high-quality test solutions.
