Python Backend Engineer

Title: Python Backend Engineer
Location: Pune/Bangalore
Exp: 3 to 5 yrs

Job Description:
Strong working knowledge of Python
• Practical experience with asynchronous Python programming
• Experience building APIs using FastAPI
• Hands-on use of Pydantic for validation and schema modeling
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP semantics, and API versioning
Design & Engineering Practices
• Solid experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or test-first development
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and readable code
• Practical understanding of SOLID principles, and clean code practices
• Working knowledge of common design patterns and when to apply them
• Familiarity with low-level design concepts (function/class boundaries, data flow)
Tooling & Production Readiness
• Strong experience with Git and PR-based workflows
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience writing and maintaining tests using pytes
Familiarity with logging, error handling, and debugging in production
