Python Developer

Location & Work Model

• Primarily remote
• On-site presence required 1 day per month in Madrid and Barcelona (combined or alternating as agreed)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture and development with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Design and maintain APIs and services supporting high concurrency and frequent external integrations
• Make and drive key technical and architectural decisions
• Contribute to frontend development and modernization using ReactJS and related technologies
• Ensure high-quality, well-tested code across backend and frontend
• Implement and maintain end-to-end and integration tests using Playwright
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and other teams to deliver robust, user-friendly solutions
• Continuously identify opportunities for technical improvement, refactoring, and technology adoption

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python
• Strong experience building web applications and APIs
• Solid understanding of scalable backend architectures
• Experience with modern testing practices and tooling
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Hands-on experience with most of the following is required:

• Frontend: ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite
• Testing: Playwright (E2E and integration testing)

This role combines technical leadership , hands-on backend development, and meaningful contributions to a modern frontend stack. You will play a key role in architectural decisions, code quality, performance optimization, and continuous improvement across the platform.
