Provide a short description of the Position: To meet the requirements of legislation legalizing adult-use recreational cannabis, as part of a collective effort carried out by DOH, ITS, and the new Office of Cannabis Management, the scope of this project is to implement an online licensing Portal utilizing existing NYBE framework and back office for OCM, which will provide licensing for marijuana producers, distributors, retailers, and other actors in the cannabis market. This position will require the IT Specialist to perform multiple types of mission critical system application testing for the Cannabis Licensing System (including but not limited to system, end-to-end, automated, performance, smoke, regression, black box, white box, and usability) to ensure the quality of the system being developed for OCM/DOH.
