Description and Requirements
Weβre looking for a QA Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who specializes in full stack QA (Front end, Web service, & Non-Functional testing) to join our team and develop products that empower users. You will collaborate with team members across various levels of the Home solution programs, interact daily with product managers, and participate in agile ceremonies such as standups, retrospectives, and planning meetings.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for automation.
- Partner with team leads to recommend strategies to reduce manual testing and promote automation best practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and track defects to resolution, ensuring high-quality user experience.
- Communicate automation test results clearly and proactively highlight quality risks.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites using tools like Selenium or Cypress.io.
- Collaborate with developers to identify test cases for automation, improving efficiency and coverage.
- Review specifications, test plans, and test cases, providing feedback for clarity and testability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining automation suites for web applications.
- Proficiency in automated testing using C#, Java, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, and Robot Framework is a plus.
- Experience with mobile automation tools and Azure DevOps Test Plans is desirable.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
Additional Qualifications
- Performance testing experience.
- Security testing knowledge.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Contributions to open-source testing projects.
